We here at GOP have a huge love for the Bat-family of titles. Out of that love, this site was born....
Gotham City is a dangerous place, the appearance of a masked man known as the Batman has sent chills down the spines of the city's criminals. But, in the years since he has burst onto the scene, things have changed. Where the villains used to be thugs and mobsters, now a different breed has come about. People as deranged and dangerous as Batman is noble, these evil doers come in all shapes and sizes. From the Clown Prince of Crime to the deadly Penguin, these criminals threaten to cut Gotham off at the knees.
Luckily for Batman, he is not alone. A new crop of masked vigilantes has emerged to help the Dark Knight beat back the darkness. He has reluctantly taken some of them under his wing, going so far as to let them in on his secret identity as Bruce Wayne, millionaire playboy and head of Wayne Enterprises.
Dick Grayson, no longer satisfied in the shadow of the Bat has left the mantle of Robin behind for new adventures.
The city is in an uproar. Crime is at it's highest point ever and some fear that the city's heroes and the men and women of it's police department wont be near enough to keep them safe.
