Selina was entitled to some “me” time, just like every other woman on the planet. Generally her “me” time consisted of lifting valuable trinkets from armored cars, museums, currier vans, jewelry stores, and the likes. But this was not one such day. No, no, no. Instead, Selina elected to engage in a little R&R at a local spa and get the whole works. Facial, mud bath, full body massage, and a Jacuzzi. Just because she was one of the finest thieves alive didn’t mean she didn’t enjoy a girl’s night out. Too bad Ivy and Harley weren’t around to appreciate it with her. It was times like these when she realized just how much she lacked female friends.
Or friends in general, for that matter. Who knows what was going on with Eddie, and even if he were willing to spend some time with her, she highly doubted he’d do so at a spa.
After receiving her facial and mud bath, it rolled around to what she looked forward to most: the full body massage. Before the massage began, her masseuse placed several small, hot stones onto her spine, apparently to relax tension contained in the muscles. Her masseuse then left, insisting she’d be back soon. Time passed. More time passed. Normally, Selina was quite capable of being patient, but something didn’t seem right. Selina’s brow furrowed as she waited in silence, before hearing a commotion down the hall, outside her door.
I’m sure it’s nothing. Who would attack a day spa? Her mind tried to assure her. Funny, but the thief wasn’t too convinced. She sat up, holding the sheet to her chest as the noises became louder, and distinctly more violence like. Damn it, why didn’t I bring my suit? I should be prepared for these situations by now! Instead, she wrapped the sheet around her and began to dress as quickly as possible. Luckily whatever was happening was still happening a ways off down the hall, but more than loud enough for her to hear, which was surprising, given these rooms were virtually sound proof.
Now she stood, guarded in stance, in little more than jeans and a tank top. She scanned her surroundings for anything that could act as a makeshift weapon. Instead, she was rewarded with several bamboo poles, a blanket, and a neon crystal glass light – not exactly the most effective tools around. Looks like she’d have to go hand-to-hand for this encounter.
With no hesitation, Selina opened the door, and viewed the chaos of the hallway. People dressed in what appeared to be… black ops uniforms were storming the hallway. They were decked out in full black cloth face masks with a black Kevlar vest and black cargo pants. Before he could fully assess the situation, the lights went out. Great. It was only a matter of time before the panic became a rabid frenzy.
((Feel free to be amid the chaos, or a hero or villain that gets involved. And you don't have to mirror, I'm pretty easy going.))

"-And the next thing I know the monkey's kicking the crap outta the hammerhead." Moses chuckled loud and obnoxiously. "I tell ya man, ou haven't seen ANYTHING until you see a chimp go toe-to-toe with a goddamn hammerhead shark." The man's laughter took a while to die down, the other men in the suana around him just staring. As he finally stopped his outrageous laughing Moses wiped a tear from his eye. Glancing around through the thick steam in the room he realized that no one else in the steam room was laughing. What was their problem? "What, you guys don't see the comedy in that?" His eyes darted from face to face.
Shrugging off the fact that his story was apparently not well received the man cracked his neck and leaned against the wooden wall behind him. "So what about you guys. Any interesting war stories, dirty secret you keep from your wives?" Moses' eyes flickered over to a rather round man with red hair. "You? C'mon...you bang the temps don't cha? Don't cha?" Again the mercenary was the only one there in the room even cracking a smile. He didn't care though, he was used to getting such reactions. Moses knew that his stories mostly blew people away but then that very fact was what made them believe the man was simply a compulsive liar. He'd been telling many wild tales ever since he had arrived at the spa.
Usually Moses didn't do the spa thing, and so that was reason enough to visit one today. Right? He didn't like to say there were things he hadn't done in life, unless it was something he was against doing and simply had no wish to do them. But why turn down a day of being pampered? Sure, most guys would prob just stick to the sauna but that was just a waste. Moses was gonna get the whole nine yards; massage, facial, some yoga, and everything else the spa offered. And if any guy tried to make any jokes about it, well Queen would just snap their neck.
The mercenary's eyes were just beginning to drop when he heard a sudden loud BANG from the other side of the steam room's door. Immediately he knew what that sound was. The flurry of thundering footsteps rushing past the door made it even more evident. Someone was storming the spa. Yeah, thats weird.
Moses quickly hopped up from his seat, his hand plunging down into the white towel that was wrapped around his waist. "Don't worry, fella's....I'm packin'." From the inside of the towel the man pulled a chrome desert eagle and departed. As the door slammed shut behind him the men left in the steam room heard two shots ring out in the hall. "Clean up on aisle 3!"

If Selina’s life weren’t swept up into a whirlwind of unusual occurrences on a regular basis, she would have thought someone storming the spa to be odd. Instead, her mind began to think of possibilities as to why the armed forces were here. Kidnapping. Money. Proving a point to the owners. Stashed treasure? The last idea practically made the cat burglar melt. But right now, she focused on two things, a, getting out, or b, taking out the black ops look-alikes. As always, Selina was damned near positive that she was faster than anyone around. And speed, as people knew, was the most important thing in a fight. The fact that she was well trained in martial arts, gymnastics, and boxing, also meant that she was more than capable of taking most men down. Hopefully these weren’t competent troopers.
The darkness of the hallway was only a temporary set back. A night prowler, her vision adjusted almost instantaneously to the nonexistent light. She stayed still, waiting for her prey to draw near. As one of the various the black ops look-alikes neared her, a gun sounded off from down the hallway. Two bullets blazed into the man, and he staggered backwards. Well, she was glad she didn’t opt to pounce on him the first opportunity she got! Getting shot… not exactly the most pleasant experience in the world. How did one of the customers sneak a gun in, anyway? Grumbling to herself, Selina got low to the ground and moved through the dark hallway, before slinking up beside Moses.
Standing to her full height of five-nine (she wasn’t wearing the heels she brought in, as they were too tall to effectively fight in), she grabbed his arm. “Easy there, stud.” Selina purred in a honeyed voice. “We wouldn’t want you gunning down the owners, now would we?” Even though, as Catwoman, she was now working the opposite side of the law, she still had some principles. She didn’t like seeing people get shot up, and she certainly didn’t like to murder anyone herself. “I think we ought to focus on luring them to us. Or at least rounding up the civilians.” Of course, the assailants would likely come to find Moses after hearing that gunshot. Still, that didn’t mean that some bystanders couldn’t come fleeing into gun sight.
She didn’t know this man well enough to trust his trigger finger. It could be a bit too twitchy for her liking. Irregardless, in this situation, having him at her side, rather than watching her back, seemed like the smart thing to do.

Right in the back. Honestly Moses hated to do it that way, it wasn't his usual style. But these were fully decked out, armed men in fatigues. Moses knew the smell of a mercenary, and thats exactly what these guys were. Luckily for him one of the men were dumb enough (or cocky enough) to roam the halls by himself. All of that was fine and dandy, but why in the hell storm a spa? Perhaps their target was a guest? That seemed to be the most logical to Moses, though there was also the possibility of this place being run by someone who was dabbling into other things on the side.
Moses blew the smoke from the barrel of his gun and prepared to head off for the rest of the men, but there was something moving quickly toward him that gave the man other thoughts. It was a woman. A rather attractive woman. She wore a tank top and jeans, obviously a woman who had come here to get herself some treatment. But then, why was she speaking as if she was experienced in this kind of situation? Queen's eyes glanced at the hand that held his arm first, then up to the woman's eyes. "You grab me, I reserve the right to grab you back." He smirked, suggestive and flirtacious...but that could wait. "Round up civies? That aint my job, lady. I'm just trying to pay back the douche-bags who ruined my day." Moses pouted slightly as he pulled his arm away from the beauty before him, his eyes not even attempting to hide the fact that they were looking her body all over.
"How 'bout this," It was a miracle, his eyes were now above her neck! "You gather up the civilians, and I make sure I still have a spa to enjoy by the end of the day. Deal?" His free hand was offered to the woman as he rest the hand that held his weapon on his hip. This lady could be a hero if she wanted, Moses wouldn't stop her, but he wasn't going to technically help her either. He wanted to figure out why those men were there.

“I’d like to see you try.” In spite of the challenge of her words and simultaneous threat, her voice remained somewhat sultry, and even slightly amused. If their situation wasn’t what it was, Selina would have been more than willing to entertain him. It wasn’t unusual for the female to lure men to her, for the sole purpose of her amusement, be it from their awkward attempts, or simply pummeling them when they got too friendly. Fortunately for Moses, Selina didn’t mind wandering eyes (hell, she was rather accustomed to them), otherwise his face might be scratched before he had the opportunity to look at hers again.
“No dice. I don’t like playing damsel behind the scenes while the big, strong men play action-hero.” Selina didn’t trust gun-totting wild man at her back. Especially when they seemed to be able to hit their targets. She could understand his motivation for vengeance – hell, she was pretty damned upset her full body massage was ruined, too. It was because of her egotism that she was focused on Moses to begin with. The invaders didn’t seem to have guns… this guy had one, and skills or not, one didn’t go running off leaving their back exposed to a guy with a gun they couldn’t trust. “Hope you don’t mind if I tag along.” If he did, he could shove it for all she cared. She much preferred trailing behind him.
Plus, this way, she could prevent him from killing any civilians he came across. She had no doubt that, even if she attempted to round them all up, he would encounter a few long before she got to them. One person could only cover so much ground. Fortunately, their goals somewhat meshed. Asides from wanting to prevent any unnecessary murders, Selina also wanted to know why they were here. The thought of riches or information worth a fortunate lingered in the back of her mind.
“By all means, gents first.” She motioned her hand through the air. Well, at least this would be a fun-filled early evening.

"Im gonna count that as an invitation." Hell she seemed to have some fire to her, and she was very pleasing to look at. Who knew, maybe once this was over Moses would actually take her up on that invite. He was trying to let loose after all, right? Right. Some unnamed, apparently special forces type guys were budy raiding the place and he was standing there going back and forth with some woman. Oddly Moses did have a problem with that. "Hey, you're the one who wants to save the day." It wasn't that he didn't value other people's lives, he didn't want any innocent customers to die at their day at the spa, but they also weren't his responsibility. Why should he spend his valuable time trying to save them? Damn chicks.
"Fine, tag along." He grumbled defeatedly, letting both his arms drop at his side. "Just lemme put some pants on." With a shake of his head Moses made quick work of depantsing the man he'd shot. The towel around his waist was discarded, "No peeking!" Though he made absolutely no effort to cover his nudity before pulling the stolen pants on. "This is just all kinds of nasty." Moses mumbled under his breath while buttoning and zipping the pants. First he checked his pockets for any additional weapons, all he found was a knife but it'd probably come in handy a little later. "Keep an eye on our backside." Moses didn't want any surprises sneaking up behind him. He'd already allowed this woman to talk him into doing something he didn't wanna, he didn't want to have her end up being the cause of his death too.
As she suggested he took the lead, cautiously guiding them down one of the halls. The lights overhead flickered, the bulb had been knocked loose in some type of struggle. As a matter of fact lots of the spa's decore was disturbed from this evident struggle. "Looks like we're goin' the right way. You check the rooms on the left, I got the right." They'd stay within a few feet of one another but they needed to move fast, it was impossible to estimate how many civilians were still in the building.

“Think what you’d like, I won’t stop you.” Selina flashed a mischievous grin in response to his assumption. The female didn’t say anything in response to his statement about her wanting to play hero. It was her second suggestion, but… it was oddly true. Ever since the Batman’s sudden reappearance, she became well aware of the fact that Bruce had changed her over the years, even though it wasn’t in any direct way. She went from being self-concerned, with the exception of wildlife preserves, to an anti-heroine of sorts, allying herself with the Batclan. Since making that discovery, she had been attempting to liberate herself from heroic taint. It was a slower process than she liked.
Selina didn’t look, but she didn’t avert her gaze, either. She was, by nature, an immodest creature, and she was far from a prude where others were concerned. And the last thing she intended to do was avert her gaze for any given period of time. So, she saw everything, but it wasn’t an intentional observation, now was it? “More like morbid.” The thief responded to his offhanded comment about his actions or situation being nasty. At his command to watch their backside, Selina resisted scowling. She’d been doing this a very long time – she knew what she was doing. But instead, she curbed her tongue. Instead, one exasperated comment escaped her mouth. “Men.”
Not only would she be watching their backs, but she’d be watching him.
As they navigated through the hallways, they finally reached a door past her rooms and the male sauna, and it was, much to Selina’s luck, on the left. The criminal opened the door, and two of the invaders poured out, jumping her. “I don't want a face full of lead. Keep your fire away from me!” Was the first thing the female said as she grabbed the arm of one of the men and propelled herself off of it, swinging into the other with a glorious kick. The black ops wanna be stumbled backwards, colliding hard with the wall as the other approached Selina. Before he could even get close enough to hit her, she brought her elbow back into his solar plexus and her fist upward, knocking him in the face. He fell like a ton of bricks.
Before she could even enjoy her victory, several invaders poured out of one far off room in the hall. Damn it, looked gun-boy'd have to get those. Pity.

Oh...he liked her, she was an entertaining one. That was good, it put a little more zest into this unfortunate event. Hunting down guys whom you had no idea who they were, and with a hot piece of eye candy hanging around. Moses liked the spunk of the woman in jeans, she seemed to know just what to say in reply to whatever he did. It was almost like they were testing each other, seeing who could keep up the butting of the heads the longest. Moses was more than confident that he'd last longer.
"Like what you saw?" He smirked as he'd seen her eying him even after telling her no peeking. But he couldn't blame her really, had the tables been reversed he sure as hell wouldn't have looked away. Plus, he had been checking her out just moments ago. Yup, this was highly entertaining. But they weren't just standing around waiting for the action to come to them, they needed to get moving. The lady he picked up seemed to have a problem with him shooting people so as Moses walked out in front he kept his gun low, his trained eyes watching out for anything he perceived as out of the ordinary. As soon as the green-eyed woman went into her first room to check....she was attacked.
"Women." Moses stepped back and folded his arms, watching as the two men attacked the single female. She shouted at him not to shoot, and that was fine but if he couldn't shoot then he wasn't doing anything. "Yes, ma'am!" He mocked as he leaned against a wall, watching her go toe-to-toe with the special forces men. Moses didn't make a move until there was the eruption of commotion that was the arrival of far more fatigue-wearing men. "Son. Of. A. Bitch!"
Moses sneered as he raised his gun and shot just beside his female compadre's face, on either side, taking out the men she'd been fighting. "There's too many to shoot, I'd be wasting bullets. You got enough wind to handle this group?" She couldn't say no, because that would mean they lose. And if you're on team Moses, you don't know the meaning of the word 'lose'. "Good, let's go." Being the good sportsman that he was Moses slapped the woman on her ass and took off into the fray.

“I’ve seen better.” She replied in deadpan, though there was a mocking grin on her sensuous lips. He could think what he liked, but she’d watched him out of distrust. A naked armed man could shoot you in the back just as easily as a dressed one. The fact that she had gotten a view meant very little to her. Sure, he was nicely built, but her hormones came second to the situation, which didn’t seem to hold as true with him. Besides, attractive or not, hormones weren’t a big factor with a man she had just met, no matter how badly she needed a distraction from Bruce.
Oh, he was a smart ass, that was for sure. Fortunately for him, she appreciated a quick tongue and a sharp wit. In fact, the banality of Bruce had driven her crazy for far too many years. If only Bruce had had a sense of humor, and a wit to match her own, then he would have truly been her antithesis. But Moses’ sense of humor was far more… well, she wasn’t sure how to describe it. Similar to her own, she guessed. And she liked that.
At first, Selina was started (though she prevented the reaction from registering in her body language and expression), when he put the gun beside her. And then he shot the already incapacitated guys. She had half a mind to punch him in the gut for that. Not only had he startled her, but he had shot already men who were already down and out, almost to rub it in her face. “Real cute.” Selina scoffed.
And then he slapped her ass. Selina would have leered at him, if not for the massive amount of enemies ahead of them. Instead, she murmured in a low tone of voice. “Remind me to twist your balls when we’re through with this.” And she had every intention of doing it, too. Maybe. She could always have more fun with mind games and blue balling him, too. She didn’t hold out, though. Selina charged forward, barefooted, and took on the slew of men.
The first to come across her path got a strong punch to the face. Selina’s body was toned from constant exercise and experience – she was at her physical peak, so her blow was nothing to laugh at. Especially since she’d been trained. His head snapped back and he fell backwards, into the crowd of the others, wo trampled him. The next man tried to punch her, and she grabbed onto his arm, flipping him into the crowd and bowling over others behind him. None of the ones near her now were ahead of the others, meaning she’d have to go into the hornet’s nest.
Fine by her.
She smashed the heel of her foot onto one of the attacker’s shoes, and brought the instep of her other foot against that leg, snapping his shin bone. Two of her fists almost simultaneously went into a man on her left. Unfortunately, because she was somewhat off balance (most people would have tripped, but this was Catwoman!) she didn’t recover herself in time, leaving her right side exposed. A fist connected cleanly to her ribcage, and an explosion of pain occurred. A broken rib.
Pained and angry, Selina punched this guy in the gut as hard as she could as soon as she recovered. The instant he doubled over, she brought her elbow onto the back of his head, and he collapsed. Everyone around her was knocked out, or otherwise indisposed. Her bare arms bore a few red marks from punches that had gone unnoticed, but she seemed no worse for wear. She was good at hiding the broken rib. Truth be told, she had a hell of a lot worse.
“We good to go?” Selina asked her companion, devoid of any pain she was feeling. They needed to continue on their way – the sooner, the better.

Seen better? Meh, so maybe she had, but Moses would doubt she had better. Yes he was a very cocky bastard. His body was toned, a very low percentage of fat and nothing but muscle. She didn't look away for a reason, and she could tell herself a number of things for why she didn't avoid looking at him....but Moses knew that the truth was simply because she was interested in seeing what he was packing under that towel. It was just a nice little show to give her but there was nothing more that Moses wanted from it. Her comment and eyes on him were enough.
"Just making sure they stayed down," He smirked at the woman after he'd shot the two men behind her. "Oh, and you're cute too." The mercenary managed to blurt out just before his hand made contact sharply with the woman's ass. With the gun now in his holster Moses charged right into the group of men headed their way, the female tag along running in to join him. The first man to near Moses swung a wild punch, it was easily ducked and the man was completely bypassed. Queen used his built up speed to launch himself into the air, raising his knees to his chest and thrusting his legs out as gravity took control.
Barefeet struck the black ops soldier in the chest, taking his entire body to the ground with Moses standing on top of him. That was only one down though. For the man whom he'd passed (who was now running toward Moses' back) a quick elbow was thrown backward to knock the air from the man's lungs. Doubled over from the blow the man soon felt his neck caught in Moses grip, by lurching his upper body forward Moses was able to hurl the man over his shoulder and into a group of his comrades. Green eyes made a quick glance over at the woman with him, she seemed to be handling herself well.
As another came running toward him Moses stepped off of the soldier under his feet, shifting himself so that a hard heelkick to the charging man's patella would took the man down. As soon as his foe dropped to one knee Moses' right fist made a devestating clash with his jaw, most likely cracking it. But that still was not the end of the wave. Both fists balled tight, Moses' attention shifted to the last standing man before him. "I would say 'give up', but I'd still kick your ass anyway." This last stander seemed to be a brave one though, after Moses' words of arrogance the man ran straight at him....and got a full out headbutt for his trouble.
"Damn I'm gonna have a headache, but yeah...we're good." Rubbing the center of his forehead he turned to look over the woman standing near him. "You okay?" He'd hate to have her injured and weighing him down.

“Funny, I wish I could say the same for you.” Selina shot back in his response to her being cute. She assumed he though that she was complimenting him on his looks earlier. Not exactly what she meant by ‘real cute’, but, hey, if he wanted to stroke himself, she had no objections. It would make his eventual crash and burn all the more glorious, especially if it was by her hands. His wit, looks, and cockiness certainly made Selina plenty tempted to be the one who took him down a notch. Or several. Still, in spite of everything, she was enjoying herself. Mostly because of the fight, but she’d be lying if she said she didn’t appreciate his wit.
Even if he was something of a pig.
“If anything , I should be asking you that.” She paused and grinned. “Using your head as a battering ram was pretty far from brilliant. I’ll have to teach you how to properly head butt someone later.” Even though Selina liked exchanging quips with him, she couldn’t sand around forever, regardless of whether or not she was injured. She resumed the search only a few seconds after she spoke. The next several doors proved to be pretty fruitless. There weren’t any men, and there weren’t any civilians, either. She was slightly worried that they had rounded up all the civilians.
Hostages? Hostages and kidnapping? It wasn’t unusual for people to focus on one target and gather others as a distraction from their real purpose, or as additional bargaining tools.
At long last, their search came to a very large room on the left. She could tell it was large because of the distance of space between it and the other doors. The door was labeled ‘Suite 09’. Selina opened the door without second thought and peeked inside, though moving her arm and twisting the knob was pretty painful. Fortunately, she was very good at acting, and she had experienced worse pain before, so nothing registered on her features.
This room only had five of the invaders in it – unfortunately, they were armed. Inside the Suite were a variety of civilians from the spa… her prediction appeared to be accurate. Luckily, they were busy focusing on tying up and guarding the hostages, and didn’t notice that Selina had opened the door. One of the invaders seemed to be directing the others, watching them tighten knots and go through the pockets of some of the hostages. The cat burglar slowly brought the door shut and turned to Moses.
“There’s five of them; one at 11 o’ clock, one at 9 o’ clock, and two at 4 o’ clock. One at 1 o’ clock seems to be directing the rest of our friends. Unfortunately, they all seem to be armed. There are also hostages in the room.” The female informed him briefly, in a low whisper. “If we don’t act quickly, they’ll shoot the hostages. I’m going to try to get past the others and take out their leader without anyone noticing. Shoot anyone of them you see raising a gun to the hostages.”
Yes, Selina was well aware that she was ordering Moses, but she was very experienced in these situations. Selina opened the door again, her face hardened, and moved stealthily into the room. As soon as the back of the two guys at four o’ clock were turned, she moved past them, and went behind their leader. It was fortunate the room was large, otherwise the plan would have never worked. She wrapped one hand over his mouth, and the other around his throat as she pulled him back further into the room, away from sight. Her rib protested, and screamed in agony as he began to thrash. She put more pressure around his throat as his hands tried to remove her arm. Fortunately, the strangulation was pretty quiet.
Moses needed to move quickly before she was discovered.

Liar. Who wouldn't think him cute, or handsome, or ruggedly good looking. Moses smirked at himself, stroking his own ego was possibly what he did best - aside from killing people.
"After you get the back of your skull caved in, a minor headache is pretty much heaven. But if there's anything else you wanna teach me....feel free." He could have said more, but right at that moment he was just a little bit more concerned with finding the rest of the men who'd stormed the spa. "C'mon, lets keep movin'." He made a nod toward the hall and once again led the way for his 'partner'. Though they had just handled that wave of unarmed men pretty gung-ho, Moses was thinking that a quieter approach would be best for finding the rest of the cell.
His slow footsteps brought them out into a larger corridor, every room they'd peeped into as they went were empty. What were the chances that this one was also empty? It was then Moses' turn to take a step back and grant the woman the lead. Apparently that room wasn't empty. That meant they found the jackpot, the place the men were using as their set up base. Now that they'd found them, Moses and Selina just needed to figure out what they wanted. "Five. All armed. Doesn't sound too bad." But the hostages could make that turn into a very horrible situation. And if Moses wanted to get through this without further nagging from his assistant, he had a feeling he'd have to protect those civilians. Well that was always a priority anyway...he didn't have to have the best attitude about it thought.
"You be careful," He eyed her up and down, not sure if he truly believed that she was still fine. "Let me do what I do, and we'll be outta here soon." Moses drew his gun and kissed the side of the barrel as the woman disappeared into the room. "One-mississippi, two-mississippi, three-mississippi, four-mississippi, Five!" He figured that was long enough for her to get in and do her part of the objective.
Moses' free hand shoved the door open and his body slipped in quickly. Standing before the door he raised his arm and shot off a single round into the ceiling, putting all eyes on him. "Oops, I'm sorry, thought the safety was on. What's going on here, I didn't see anything about 'duck, duck, goose' in the brochure." As Moses talked his nonsense he spotted one of the gunmen take a step and direct his gun toward a group of hostages. "Don't even think about it, Tweaky, or I'll give your dome a nice sunroof." He smirked as he now held his gun pointed at the armed man.
"I came in here with a woman, a hot woman at that. You know that kinda hot I mean, the kind that makes you wanna say 'fuck all these guys trying to take over a day spa, and lets go do the horizonal tango on the clerk's desk'. Know what I mean? Well, anyway," He shook his head and slapped his free hand on his forehead to get himself back on track. "She whats shooting you guys to be a last resort....but she has her hands full at the moment."
BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! The groups of bound hostages all screamed out as the four dead bodies dropped to the floor. That left just the guy who was being strangled alive...if miss claws hadn't done away with him yet. "Shut up!" Moses holstered his weapon with a frown. The gunshots had obviously terrified the people even more, but at least not they were safe. Ignoring all of the hostages he walked by, Moses joined Selina and her prisoner. "Its time to get some answers."

She almost asked how he’d survived having his skull caved in, and how it happened, but she curbed her tongue. Curiosity killed the cat, and all that. Instead, she focused on the situation – the hostages. A situation he complicated.
Selina may have been amused if the situation weren’t so dire (though she still would have thought him an idiot). Firing a warning shot into the ceiling was a damned stupid move – the hostages could have been killed. Proceeding to state how unbelievably hot she was before even shooting them gave them more of an opportunity to kill hostages. If all four of them opened up, there wouldn’t be a damned thing he could do about it. Needless to say, she was pissed. His attitude could have cost many lives if the invaders had been even slightly intelligent. That ball-twisting she promised him earlier seemed a little closer to all out pummeling. Maybe it would have been better to do everything on her own, whether or not she had her back to him.
“What the hell was that? I-” She cut herself off as she glared at Moses. Releasing a heavy, deep, and frustrated sigh, Selina slammed the guy she was holding against the wall, and released his throat. He gasped desperately for air, and before he could do anything else, Selina grabbed his weapon and slammed it into his stomach. “Spill, or I’ll find more creative ways to suffocate you.” Like drowning, or shoving his head into sand. To make matters easier, Selina ripped off the black sloth mask over his head, revealing his red face. He continued to gasp for air while his eyes teared from asphyxiation. After he caught his breath, he began to stammer out a response.
“We were paid to round up as many hostages as we could.” He coughed and gasped in between and even during words. “But we were sent after one specific girl. Lisa White.” Selina looked at him – it was as she expected. “Who are you working for?” He began to sputter, and she slammed the barrel of the gun harder into his gut. He double over. “Who?” Selina expected a response, but there was silence instead. Before she could think of harming him or threatening him again, the man fell onto the ground. “Shit!” Selina knew what had happened – he had a capsule in one of his teeth, and he has taken it. When she turned him over, she was right. He was frothing at the mouth, and very clearly dead.
She sighed aloud in frustration. This certainly didn’t help her souring mood.
“I should check and see if there’s any more of them here and on the lower levels before we release the hostages.” Her voice was low – she was very obviously not a happy camper. She moved back to where the hostages are. “I understand that you’re all very scared, but we need you to be as quiet as possible. I’m going to check the lower levels and make sure everything’s safe first.” She wasn’t sure if Moses was going to come, but at this point, it might not be a bad thing if he didn’t.
((Feel free to skip ahead past when they’ve cleared out the other invaders, unless you wanna RP it out.))

"That was me doing what I do." He spoke nonchalontly about the entire perdicament. All it would have taken was for one of those men to have a pair and a few hostages could be dead. But Moses knew there was a slim chance of that happening. The men were there for a reason and it they truly wanted to execute they would have killed at least one person prior to Moses and the woman's arrival, and so far everyone looked to be still living. Too bad the same couldn't be said for those hostage-takers. Then again, Moses didn't think it was too bad at all.
He took a slight step back as the woman forcefully shoved her prey against the wall, she seemed to have needed some room. While she played the tough guy of this partnership Moses allowed his eyes to wander just below the woman's waist. Hey, he was a guy and she had a rather nice body to look at. Moses blamed nature. After about a solid minute of watching the woman's behind Moses finally began to actually pay attention. His lips tugged into a smirk as the butt of the man's rifle was rammed into his gut. This woman was really determined to get him to talk. Unfortunately for them though, these men seemed to be ready for if their mission became a suicide one. "Bastard." Moses muttered from behind Selina as she examined the cause of death. It was a cheap way out, but it also meant this guys meant business. Whoever sent them surely didn't want to be caught.
"No one move." He walked backward, eyes on the hostages yet following Selina to the door. "This room is your safe zone, we'll come back when the coast is clear."
It was a quick sweep. They managed to run across a few more of the spa-invaders, but just like the others none of them were too much of a challenge. "I think we got em!" It had only been about 5 minutes. Not too shabby. As soon as they could the two people were running back to the large room filled with hostages. "We should find this 'Lisa White' just to see if she knows why she was targeted." Moses glanced over at the raven haird woman, "And what's your name?"

Selina was tempted to punch him in the gut… repeatedly. This wasn’t a game. This wasn’t action-hero. This was real life, and people’s lives were on the line. For him to be so flippant and self centered in this situation… well, it was infuriating. Selina had an ego of her own, but she knew when to put it on the backburner. Apparently Moses did not.
Luckily for Moses, Selina had exhausted most of her anger on the few remaining invaders left. Fights always energized her and acted as natural stress relievers, for the most part. They hadn’t proven to be anything of a real fight, but punching people a few times was more than enough for her. “Agreed. You should probably leave the talking to me. Somehow I doubt you’d be the most effective in a situation involving a woman.” She mused aloud. Yes, what if this Lisa White were attractive? Even if she weren’t, Moses hadn’t proven himself to be the most… gentle guy where the hostages were concerned. Something about his earlier words made that much evident.
Truth be told, Selina was halfway reluctant to say her name. She was still a little mad at him for his earlier folly where the hostages were concerned, and, of course, for slapping her ass. Still, she had allied herself with him, and they had been allies for more than a few moments. After a while of consideration, Selina decided that it would be rude not to offer her name, and that she owed him that. If only that, though (not including twisting his balls as soon as they were out of this place). “Selina.” Last names weren’t necessary. Especially considering the fact that no one needed to know that Selina Kyle, feline enthusiast, had a wide knowledge of martial arts and combat.
Selina went amid the hostages and kneeled down.
“We’re going to let you go, but before we do, we need to know which one of you is Lisa White. It’s very important.” Her honeyed voice was soft and soothing, like a comforting coo. There were a few strained, silent murmurs, but otherwise a long silence. Then, at last, the silence was broken by a relatively young girl, probably no older than twenty five. She was blonde, with shoulder length hair, and blue eyes. She was beautiful, but softer looking than Selina was. Selina always possessed a more mature beauty.
“I’m Lisa White.” She spoke in a hesitant tone.
Selina looked over at Moses and gave him a nod, before going to untie all the other hostages. Some hostages immediately spilled out of the room, others began to weep, and others still remained, talking on the phone. Some were catatonic. Lisa White stood still, waiting for them to ask their question.
“Who are you? They said that they were targeting you, is there any reason why?” The cat burglar asked. Lisa White thought about it for a moment, and then sighed. “My father’s the Senator, Jacob Irving. It’s all very hush hush… he and my mom had a fling when they were younger, and they’ve kept it quiet. They consider it a political liability to his campaign. But no one else should know about it!”
