Alfred joined Barbara in laughing when she stated they thought of him as a little bit of everything. “It is the only to keep up with all of you and keep you in one piece,” he pointed out with a smile. “The one thing I am not good at it seems is being a psychologist. I seem to be better at being counselor,” he pointed out.
“I do take care of myself my dear. But, I find my life is perfectly fine without a female companion. I believe that you are more likely to sing that old song for Bruce or the kids then for myself,” Alfred pointed out. “No, I will sit in front with you. I feel better being in front,” Alfred told her.

Babs grinned over at him. "You do keep us in one piece, even when we shatter. Thank you for that. I wouldn't trust you if you were a shrink." She grinned and winked at him as she got situated. "If I ever talk to Bruce again, Tim doesn't get in over his head and not live to see his next birthday and Cass doesn't kill herself as she slips further into depression." All of this was said as she waited for him to get settled in the car. She buckled up and looked over at him. "I've really missed you."

Alfred settled himself in the passenger seat. He listened to what Barbara told him. “Master Bruce has much to explain to all of us. He left us in the dark about his true status,” Alfred stated. Alfred smiled when Barbara told him that she missed him. “Then we must make sure that next time there is not as big a gap between the times we see each other,” he stated.
Alfred was more comfortable in the driver seat because he was more used to driving the car. He did sit quietly though not showing a hint of discomfort. “I believe that you will need a lot of food to restock your selves. I believe now would be a good time to do just that,” he pointed out.

Once he was settled she put the car in gear and made her way to the store. "Oh yes, he does." Until she finally had it out with him, she was going to be pissed beyond belief at Bruce. "I'm moving back permanently, I haven't told anyone yet, but you can stop by any time you want, day or night. My window door is always open to you." She flashed him a grin.
At least he didn't keep eying the wheel, she was thankful for that. At his comment about stocking up her kitchen she bit the inside of her cheek. "May as well. It needs to be done." Babs wondered if she could get away with a lot of frozen and boxed dinners. Things that wouldn't spoil right away, just in case she forgot to eat.

Alfred smiled when Barbara stated she was moving back. “I am glad to hear that,” he told her. He then chuckled when he stated that her door was always open. Of all the Bat Clan he was only one who never would use a window to gain entrance. “Thank you for the invitation my dear. I will most certainly take you up on your offer,” Alfred told her.
“This way you are not stuck trying to transport all the groceries by yourself. I think you are going to have a lot to fill your shelves and everything,” Alfred pointed out. He knew that there was a lot of empty space in Barbara’s cabinets and in her fridge and other places.

”Although, I'd love to see you swing just once. You might get a kick out of it.” She slid him a look at winked at him, just to let him know he's teasing. ”I'll have a spare key made for you. That way if you need an escape you don't have to worry about if I'm home or not. Though I'll more than likely be home.” Babs grinned and pulled into the parking lot. She pulled into the handicap spot, right by the door. Then she turned and looked.
Her head shook a bit when he said she was going to get stocked up. ”No dice, there Alfred. I'm on limited funds at the moment. But I'll try to keep the Ramen to a minimum.” She waggled her brows and worked to get herself and her chair out of the car. ”Time to shop.” She hated shopping, unless it was on line of course.
