Alfred!!
There is way more to Alfred than meets the eye and no matter what anyone says about Bruce, Alfred is the true man behind the Batfamily. He is the one that truly is glue to the family, since he also is the one that tends to Bruce. It was hard when Bruce died but if Alfred were the go the family would crumble faster than anything. He's a father, an uncle, a nursemaid. A shoulder to cry on. Alfred probably knows each member of the family better than the rest of them and he is very good at adapting to what they need him to be. To call him a hired man or a servant is so far beneath his status that it's not even funny. He's the man behind the curtain and even though he will never say such a thing everyone who knows him knows this. Bruce may think he calls the shots, but even he is affected by whether or not Alfred is disappointed in him or not. Alfred truly is the master of Wayne manor, if not in name then in deference. He's intelligent, cunning, brave, and not afraid to tsk even the big bad Bat.
